Before your Lumecca IPL, schedule your consultation to identify your treatment areas. Also, avoid tanning treatments and direct, excessive sun exposure for one month before treatment.
During the treatment, you will experience a bright flash of light from the Lumecca that feels like a light elastic sensation. Your Miami Skin Spa professional will deliver a specific wavelength of light to address your pigmentation and skin concerns. The pigments absorb the light and are destroyed, often within one session.
You may experience slight redness and warming, which usually disappears within one hour.
Over the 24-48 hours following treatment, you may notice a darkening of pigmented spots.
During the week after treatment, the pigmented lesions may flake off as your skin evens out as you notice the results of your Lumecca IPL treatment.
