Skin resurfacing is a treatment for anyone who has concerns of uneven skin tone, wrinkles, loss of elasticity, acne scarring, or pigmentation issues, such as sunspots and freckles is a candidate. In the past, about 80% of all skin resurfacing procedures were performed on women between the ages 30-65. Today, it is becoming more popular for younger women to get a head start on improving their appearance before fine lines and wrinkles start to appear.

Ice may be used locally on the area to reduce swelling and pain. The swelling from the Enlighten III Laser usually subsides much faster within a few hours, but with Secret RF it may take 1-3 days for redness and swelling to return to normal.
This varies between individuals based upon skin condition and the size of the problem being treated.Some people may achieve optimal results in just one treatment.
In general three to five treatments are typical to achieve the desired skin resurfacing goals. This is a large improvement on previously used treatments for skin resurfacing, which could often take up to 15 sessions.

The effects are long lasting and are dependent on the individuals conditional and skin type and how you care for your skin post-treatments. For example, if after a brown spot treatment you are meticulous about applying sunscreen and wearing hats or clothing that prevents sun exposure, then your effects will be longer lasting. Most often, patients will require a yearly maintenance treatment to maintain results.
Our Secret RF dermal remodeling procedure can be uncomfortable, as the microneedles penetrate the lower layer of skin. First, a topical anesthetic cream is applied to the area at least 30-45 minutes before the procedure to minimize pain and discomfort. During the treatment process, expect a sensation of pressure and heat as the probe moves through the treatment area. The length of the procedure is varies depending on the surface area being treated. The treatment time for the face is usually about 20 minutes.
The Enlighten III Laser treatment begins by cleansing the treatment area. As the probe makes contact with the skin, it will feel warm and like a rubber band snapping the skin. Topical anesthetic creams are not usually used, but if too much discomfort is experienced during the procedure this can be applied. This type of procedure is usually about 20 minutes longer but may vary based on the surface area being treated.
Our Secret RF dermal remodeling treatments will usually leave the skin red and swollen for less than a day. Sometimes the swelling and redness will take longer to dissipate if more aggressive settings are used.
Our Enlighten III Laser treatment may cause minor swelling that usually improves within a few hours after the procedure. Most people will return directly to work and any other activities. Luckily cosmetics can be worn directly after the procedure.

Morpheus8 RF MICRONEEDLING
The Morpheus8 RF Microneedling dermal remodeling is the use of microneedles to target scarring.
The Morpheus8 RF needles can be programmed to penetrate skin at specific depths to target specific skin tightening and acne scar removal needs. These needles supply heat to the skins lesions and uneven collagen, causing the skins collagen to degenerate. This process leads to the healing of wounds and stimulates the production of collagen. This leads to the permanent improvement and disappearance of acne scars, wrinkles, and hyper pigmented areas.
Morpheus8 dermal remodeling treatments are customizable for each person and their needs. After the Morpheus8 RF dermal remodeling most of our patients will return to work experiencing no downtime. However each person is different and some may experience redness and swelling for a couple of days. After the treatment has been completed cosmetics should be avoided for at least two days.
ENLIGHTEN III LASER
The Enlighten III Laser uses nano and picosecond laser technology to customize skin treatments.
The Enlighten Laser has a dual-wavelength and dual pulse duration system that sends energy through the layers of skin, the dermis and epidermis. This technology uses dual pulses on either a nanosecond or picosecond wavelength, that stimulates the production of new collagen without damaging any of the surrounding skin.
The Enlighten III Laser skin resurfacing treatment is also fully customizable to each patient. After an Enlighten laser treatment you can return to work and other activities immediately. You also have the added benefit of being able to apply cosmetics immediately after your treatment.
